The International Genealogical and Historical College (IGHC) proudly hosts the International Hall of Fame — the highest honor bestowed upon individuals who have demonstrated exceptional leadership and achievement in the genealogical and historical fields.

Purpose and Prestige
The Hall of Fame recognizes men and women whose contributions have significantly advanced the study and preservation of family history, heraldry, and genealogy. Inductees are nominated by their peers and selected through a rigorous process that honors only a few each year.

Annual Selection Schedule
-Year 1: 10 inductees
-Year 2: 5 inductees
-Year 3: 4 inductees
-Year 4: 3 inductees
-Year 5 and beyond: 2 inductees annually

Criteria for Selection 
Nominees are evaluated based on a wide range of accomplishments, including:

• Authorship of books or articles on genealogy, heraldry, or history
• Leadership roles in lineage, heritage, or historical societies
• Founding or organizing genealogical organizations or seminars
• Frequent speaking engagements at national or international events
• Editorial contributions to recognized publications
• Awards and honors for genealogical writing or service
• Documented international ancestral connections
• Certified genealogical credentials
• Service as a docent or contributor to historical exhibits

Each nominee must demonstrate sustained excellence and active participation across multiple areas, with a pedigree tracing back at least six generations to a direct ancestor from a foreign country.
