Mission

The mission of this organization is declared to be genealogical, historical and educational, and it shall: 

1. Establish an "International Genealogical and Historical Hall of Fame" to recognize those individuals who have

1) served as a leader in National and International lineage, heritage, genealogical and/or historical organizations;
2) distinguished themselves as authors, speakers, etc.;
3) served as organizers and/or speakers at genealogical and/or historical seminars; or
4) are Certified Genealogists. The Hall of Fame shall be governed by the Award Policy, adopted, and maintained by the Executive Committee.

2. Promote Genealogy Seminar(s) and exhibitions. 
3. Establish a digital genealogical or historical newsletter to inform all members of appropriate activities. 
4. Establish a web site to inform the members and the public of notable events in the state. 
5. Establish and fund a scholarship program which shall offer scholarships in accordance with the Award Policy, adopted and maintained by the Executive Committee. 
6. Encourage all members to trace their ancestors back to Europe or their homeland, and to publish their family history.
